The Ilorin International Airport was originally built in the 1970s as a possible alternate to the Lagos Murtala Mohammed Airport.  Following a series of changes in government, the airport fell into disrepair.  The government of President Olusegun Obasanjo set aside a modest budget to upgrade the airport and based on work in aviation that we had done previously on such projects as the Osubi Airport in Warri, our firm was recommended to carry out the design work.

The project included the remodelling of about 2400 square meters of usable space at three levels, and work on a 20m high control tower.  The building’s walls and vertical elements have just recently been finished with aluminium panels.
