This project was created to be a Development Africa model healthcare facility. The center has been completed, and will provide 24-hour medical care and attention to Lekki families with modern medical equipment, patient wards, maternity delivery rooms, an operating theatre, consultation rooms, a pharmacy, a laboratory, and ultrasound services. In November 2019, the Japanese Embassy sponsored the installation of a complete solar power system for the facility. This system will run the lights, equipment and air conditioners, reducing the carbon footprint of the building and pollution to its environs.
